Hi there! Lydell here, with a video today, showing you how to make your own paper beads. They are easy, and using Helmar Craft and Hobby Glue they look like the real thing when mixed with wire, other beads and jewellery findings. I used book pages but they are often created using recyled glossy magazine pages. You could use your favourite patterned paper too to create something fun to add to your jewellery collection. Find Helmar Craft and Hobby PVA Glue and much more HERE To learn how to wire wrap beads like the ones in the pictured necklace there are oodles of videos on youtube showing you how. My favourites are auntiesbeads.com and aubreysbeads.com Hope you enjoyed watching and are inspired to have a try yourself! Lydell Quin Educato

The Big Beady Destash
Like a lot of other beadmakers, my love of glass came about after discovering lampwork glass beads when using them in my jewellery making. I spent a fortune on beautifully made British beads before deciding I absolutely had to learn to how make my own. As I only use my own beads in my jewellery nowadays, this has left me with the dilemma of what to do with the remaining beads made by others. They’re far too lovely to languish in my bead box. I’ve decided to sell them off in one job lot on eBay and raise funds for more glass
. They’re all fully annealed and there are 25 beads in all. I’ve started bids at 99p so someone could be in for a bargain. The listing can be found here if you like a look
